The agent’s answer
The third paragraph is your bio and should be short, two or three sentences at most. Ismita suggests including where you are located, any personal detail you are comfortable sharing, and anything pertinent to the manuscript, such as whether you are writing from personal experience. Include your writing credentials if you have them, and if you do not, that is fine. Add your contact information, like your name and email; a mailing address is not necessary. Thanking the agent is not required, but it is a polite, professional touch.
